Of course, they only "take" photographs of the arrowheads they find, and hopefully will not make the acquaintance of a U.S. Magistrate.
I once had a neighbor who became extremely proficient at making projectile points from all kinds of glass, including colored bottles. He never tried to fool anyone, but he sure had fun.
When the neighbor moved to the midwest, he gave me chunks of obsidian that he had removed from the roadfill around Bend, Oregon.
