The official recorded record for the Amargosa River (1962 to 2003) as recorded by U.S.G.S. Hydrologic Unit #18090202 at Tecopa was on August 19th, 1983. At the time, the gage height was recorded at 16 feet with a stream flow of 10,600 cfs.
