50 dollars a bargain? To access something your tax dollar pays for? I wish I could be your financial advisor. I would rip you off as you are not smart. The fee would be ok if the national park system was private. That fee only lines the pockets of those who take it. Even so.....the employess of the system, as well as the armed rangers should take a moment and be kind to folks who visit. They act like they are angry that they decided to work in the middle of nowhere. The retired volunteers at DVNP get nothing but a place to park their motorhomes and they are wonderful. I wish they would get some of the millions of dollars that is illegally extorted form tax payers.
