I carry two cheap compressors in my truck both bought at Harbor Frieght tools.One is a Campbell Hausfeld unit that I paid $15.99 for. It plugs into your vehicle power outlet.It is very small so it takes up no room at all.
The other one that I have is I think made by Chicago Electric it is a battery booster box with built in booster cables, air pump , work light and it also has a power outlet.It has a status meter so you know when to recharge. When a recharge is needed you can plug it into a 120 outlet or into your vehicle power outlet and let it charge while driving. I paid under $50 for it and I like it do to the fact that I can jumpstart my truck if my battery was to ever go dead.
