The sierra club was just flat pissed when they learned that the bridge had been built. They demanded that the bridge be removed. Steve did fight to keep the bridge. With todays attitude in the BLM, he may not fair as well. We can always hope for the best. I want the road to be rebuilt. But, I for one do not want chicken rock or any other improvements made. If a contractor comes up to drill and blast, they will probably bring in a dozer. That means that Pleasant Canyon will be a piece of cake until the next major storm comes. This will bring more traffic on South Park Canyon and more pressure on the cabins.
