I know for a fact that the "assault weapon" is a modified fake purchased in the late 80s in Japan.The fake was brought along simply for use in photos like the ones you have seen. You can discuss it all you want however I know this due to the fact that I am the "kid" you are talking about in the previous posts. I love Death Valley and I do all I can to protect its state of being....I did wish at one point that the fake was a real 12G when a rattlesnake started shakin' its stuff at the Lotus Mine..lol.Anyways, now that ya'll have nothing to discuss as far as firearms restrictions I was wondering what your first experiences were like in the Valley of Death. I'm from out of state myself and I have to say that out of all the places I have traveled Death Valley was by far the most surreal and beautiful example of nature I have ever witnessed. I went in early August and I am looking forward to going back soon (at a better climate hopefully) however I was wondering when an ideal time is to visit DV in regards to weather, etc? Sorry for any hotheads caused by the Jap' fakkie! peace....
