Hi folks, last year while in DV, I was over at the Sand Dunes by SPW taking photos during sunset and while walking back to the car I noticed a wide ditch nearby the road but you could see it was wide enought to be a 2-lane dirt road and was straight and goes a long distance before making a turn. I was wondering if this was the original road, I know and seen from very old photos from DV that the roads were oil cover (an old way to keep the dust from blowing while driving) and if someone would dig there, will they find traces of oil?
Just trying to start a new topic here and hope other will find this mystery just as interesting as I have.
