I fly in to Vegas from Tennessee. I first met Death Valley on a 3 week road trip a couple of years ago. This year I did a 2 week cross-country motorcycle trip as far as the Grand Canyon. But when I got home...I still felt the need to get to Death Valley.
So...here I go! One small suitcase & a playmate cooler as my carry-on/purse. One stop at Wal-mart outside of Vegas for water and I'm set for the most relaxing week of my year.
I see this becoming a yearly pilgrimage for me.
