Terrible news and shocking to hear. Paul was a good guy. I had the pleasure of almost being a moving target for him as I was driving on the property at Atolia. A chance e-encounter from this website and I got a wonderful tour of the scheelite workings last November. Stopped in to see him this Easter but missed him by a few minutes.
For a fellow I met only once, he will be sorely missed. Paul was a very adamant supporter of preservation of the area's history. After meeting Paul I made Atolia a mandatory stop on all future trips to the area for more history lessons. I guess the one I got was better than none at all.
