The obvious issue in winter months is rain or snow, depending on the elevation where you "get away from it all". Also, your trailer will limit the access on certain roads which can become washed-out.
Having said that, winter time allows you to spend time in places that are way too hot in summer months .
There's nothing like the scent of wet sage brush after a rain storm.......although I can't find that in the air freshener aisle......
Just get out there!
