Leave truck in Trona?

I normally tow my trail jeep with my pick-up. I'm not always comfortable leaving the truck unattended at a trailhead for a few days. Lately, I prefer to park it at a roadside gas station or such. I'm planning to explore the Panamint area and was wonder if there was a good place to park my pick-up truck in Trona. Any suggestions are appriciated.
