Well--the latest update to the situation at the Burro Schmidt Tunnel follows----The Friends of Jawbone withdrew their offer to take over the site, and it looks as if the BLM will have their way. The BLM sent a contractor up to the site to give an extimate on removal of all out buildings, trailers, and whatever else that doesn't fit into their plans.
It is a real shame to see the place being taken over by the BLM and sad to see how they are attempting to rewrite history.
