Well the dunes near Stovepipe are always very photogenic around sunrise and sunset. An acquaintance of mine that teaches photography likes to shoot at Badwater during sunrise. If the air is really clear after a storm, the views from Dante's View and/or Aguereberry Point are spectacular. Artist's Palette late in the day is very colorful. There are some nice scenes along the Titus Canyon Road. Also various interesting mining ruins like athe the Keene Wonder Mill.

I second Panamint Springs for the food and ambience. The food at the Furnace Creek Inn can be good, but is very pricey!
