Hey, tire spiking is friggin' WRONG, no matter what the motivation is. If I'm driving through DV, on a ROAD, and I come to a wash or other obstacle, I'm not gonna sit there and wait until I die! I'm gonna drive over,around,under, or through whatever is there. Now, I'm obviously talking about a situation where it's impractical to turn around or find another route. However, there are times when driving off- road is required to get home.
Also, for anyone who thinks they're acting in the environments best interest by laying a spike strip, and YOU place me in a life-threatening situation by your actions, then my actions towards YOU will be in proportion. Take warning! I will not sit idly by and allow YOU to endanger my life, or those travelling with me.
