Myself and two buddies hauled full packs up
Telescope Peak the weekend of 5/30 - 5/31. Spent the
nite on the summit. Beautiful weather, light breezes.
Sierras disappointingly hazy, as were most ranges
in Nevada. Snow patches are rapidly disappearing-
there were a few next to the trail above
10,000' on North slopes in afternoon shade
but trail itself
was clear all the way to summit, and no snow on
or around summit at all. There were two open campsites
at Mahogany Flats on Fri nite when we arrived at 9pm.
