Here's a link to a quick trip guide that might help you with your trip planning. Like Desert Dryad mentions, there are several different experiences to be had in Death Valley depending upon your preferences for seclusion, scenery, elevation, or unique features of Death Valley. Most first-timers to the park enjoy taking in some of the more famous sights of Death Valley (including Devil's Golf Course, the Salt Flats, Badwater, the Sand Dunes, etc.) But this may not be what you're after. Give us some insight into what your expectations are and we'll all be glad to help out.
