Every garment I own has oil on it from my 83 shovelhead wideglide. Odometer is currently sitting on 135557 miles and will read 135817 tonight when I pull into the Yuma fairgrounds for the 41st annual prison run. I have to ride alone because most harley riders spend the day looking for a mirror tank truck to check themselves out or see if their scooter matches their unused Surburban. I have spent quite a few times changing the ignition switch on the side of the road or replacing the negative battery cable.... minor setbacks and still more fun than fixing the roof on the house. I have the first sport bike sold by westminister harley with a sticker price over 5K...(dec 5, 1982) my mom cried when she found out that I spent so much money on a bike and nothing for the girlfriends birthday. My 5199 investment would sell for well over 10k if I washed it. Iam afraid to do so as parts may fall off....Old blue gets me there fast and if there was a road to japan id ride it there..........
