I too had a problems with the camp hosts at Stovepipe. Herb and Ginger Brabant. He acted like Stovepipe Wells Campground was his military base and he was the one in charge. I've been going to Death Valley for some 20+years and I never have had a bad experience until I met the base commander at Stovepipe. He was definitely on a mission to ruin your hard earned vacation time in Death Valley. Did you know it's aganist the rules to have any rocks in the provided fire pits? Herb does and he will be sure to let you know even if you didn't put them there by throwing them all around your camping area....INCOMING!!!!!!
