I'm trying to figure out if this posting is in regards to my question on the Nelson Range. What do you mean by name "using"? Did I call somebody something? I realize that I am not going to get detailed directions by asking about a place on this web site - I just hope for general info or for someone to actually email me with a tidbit. I have been going to DV once to twice a year for 7 years. I love the place and so do most people who regularily post on this website. Sure, I guess I could research more 'at a library' if I lived near a decent one, didn't have 2 small children, a fulltime job and a bathroom remodel taking up every weekend. That's why I own many books/maps on the region and look at this website - to research. I appreciate whatever info anyone is willing to give me. I know what is like to feel like you've 'discovered' something for the first time - it's great. I too would like to see these areas remain pristine - but I'd also like to SEE them. Books are okay, but my own eyes are better.

Again, I don't need 'directions'. I'm looking for tips, references to books, etc.... and I appreciate any given. I do have the "Hiking DV" book and thank you for your info Joel. By the way, I really love your website. I am very impressed by the slide shows. Tami
