It sounds like you have much more advanced GPS equipment than the rest of us (average) dezrats. That was the main point of my post below, that most of us average citizens won't be able to see a difference unless they (DoD)apply changes to our grid "N. America" part of the world? Still learning though, is that correct? Also, about jamming? spoofing? GPS signals and other unauthorized and unrecognized out-bound satellite transmissions from the battle zone would become prime targets for attack?
Anyhow, I apologize to 11Bravo for calling his/her post B.S., but read it from the POV of average "civilian" use of GPS receivers.
Whatever the case, I would GLADLY turn mine off and toss it in the trash if it meant protecting any of our brave soldiers from harm.
