Spent the entire weekend @ Lee Flat. Weather was mostly clear, cool (hi's in the mid 50s, lo's in the mid 30's), and breazy..... Did some "local" driving. Evidently Hunter Mountain was a muddy mess - did not attempt with my 4X4 Silverado. The southern route into Saline was easliy passable, wet with light snow. The road to Cerro Gordo was covered with snow the last mile or so - I did not attempt. In addition, watch out on Cerro Gordo Road for that "one" really sharp rock that wreaked havoc with one of my "cheap", from the Chevy factory, Firestones.... At least now I have an excuse to put new, bigger, BFG All-terrains on.... Other than that it was a great weekend. I do have one request though - I realize that it is a lot smoother to do 80 MPH on washboard, but when you see a camp, especially with small kids, can you SLOW down?! We do not need to breath all the extra dust... I do thank the one in (literally) twenty that did slow down.... you Jeeps and Toyotas know who you are.... All-in-all a good weekend.
