Armorgosa Opera house hotel and BevLen Haus?

Dear fellow desert dwellers -

I know most of you regulars are likely too rugged to know,
but, I am wondering if anyone here has spent a night at either
the Amorgosa Opera House's hotel, or, at the BevLen Haus
B&B in Ridgecrest, recently? I am plotting a trip for
spring, to bring my sweetie to Death Valley - it's his first
time, so I want to go easy on him :) and stay a night
or two indoors.

Not that assorted remote cabins aren't on the list,
as well...

Also - anyone know if the Furnace creek outdoor showers ever re-appeared??
