Mole,

The small gullies in Grapevine Canyon can cause problems for a trailer with a long over-hang. If you do want to take your trailer to the springs, using the North pass is an option. Using the North pass adds distance to your travel if youíre coming from the Southland, but the road is more accepting of vehicles with trailers. This is the road that is/was used by the trucks when hauling ore from the White Eagle, although no hauling has taken place in a while that Iím aware of. Keep in mind that the crossing at Waucoba Wash can be difficult if there has seen much run-off from rain and snow, and low hanging tree branches can scrape the trailer. Also, snow can be a problem this time of year for both North and South. Good luck and enjoy your trip.
