There is a fine line between reconstruction and road repairs to make a road passable. To the best of my knowledge there is no law to halt road repairs. Otherwise I would have been guilty hundreds of times for filling in a wash out or pitching rocks in a hole to make a road passable.

I am sure that BLM and NPS personnel monitor this board. To talk about working on the South Park Canyon road and setting up a work date on this message board is inviting a BLM ranger to meet you and find some obscure reason why the road cannot be fixed.

The wash out on the South Park Canyon road is on BLM land. The NPS has no jurisdiction on that part of the road. Brenner is gone so we do not have to contend with his obnoxious behavior. I know nothing about his replacement, he (she) just might be a reasonable plesant incividual.
