It is amazing how quick most people are to cite the various reasons why I can't do helpful and constructive things here in MY country. It only proves two things: 1) Most Americans have been brainwashed and intimidated by the Wierd Uncle and his parasitic hangers-on. 2) There is a law already on the books to forbid ANYTHING in this country. Freedom is a state of mind, enforced with actions to exercise it. If you are stranded out in the desert, or in the Panamints, because of a wash out; you must perform temporary repairs to the road to get out. The issue of Enviornmental Assessments is promoted only by bureaucrats and other party-poopers. Chuck, when you and your crew decide on fixing the South Park Canyon road above the bridge, simply create an emergency that requires immediate repairs a few feet above the existing wash-out, then fix the whole thing at once. When the "authorities" show up, as for their help. No heuvos, no fun.
