The danger in cleaning any down product is that you don't want to strip off the natural oils on the feathers; this is what helps them keep their loft and insulating properties. A regular dry cleaning process has organic based solvents that are meant to cut grease and oils; bad outcome for down.
Second concern is too much mechanical agitation might hurt seams and the baffles. So........to be absolutely safe, washing in a bathtub is the best bet. Powder detergents are more gentle than liquid (this is also true for Gortex protected fabrics). After washing & rinsing, let it drain as much as you can (don't lift it by one end or all the down may end up sliding to one end), then tumble dry on gentle heat.
