Death Valley is a national park. About the only private property in the valley called "Death Valley" is the Inn, the Furnace Creek lodge, the town of Ryan and a few other patented mining sites. Now if you get out of "Death Valley" proper, there is some private land which falls under the name, Death Valley National Park. Panamint Springs is such a location, but I doubt if Jerry will ever part with it. Try looking in Tecopa or Shoshone. These two towns are just outside the park so they have similiar climates.
