Check out the New York Times today, Monday, November 18. It contains a feature story about Trona, centered on the high school football team, which apparently plays on a hard dirt field that no other team enjoys visiting. Loss of population in the area is forcing the school to go down to an eight-man football league next year. Interesting piece about the town and the school.
