I was checking on things at the Modoc Sunday evening and saw a gaggle of off-roaders coming south apparently from the Osborne, so that might have been your group EK-dog. I went to Osborne for the night and another small step in the on-going clean-up. R E A L quiet up there, as usual, and the just-past full moon woke me at 2 AM - I thought someone was shining a flashlight on me!
Sunday I took the Wildrose trip to see the kilns, then the long way around to Panamint Springs resort. Had lunch there and watched some Navy jets having sport with low altitude fly-bys. I was going home through Panamint Valley and saw one jet flash past right outside my window - he was low!
Anyway, it was another great trip. Those rains never made it to the Argus Range much - I think we reported about 12 raindrops total.
And many thanks to Scootertrash - baked lasagna with toasted garlic bread, and salad extraordinare courtesy of Joel once more.... This is roughing it at its finest!
