I would think that Titus Canyon would be a safer bet than Telescope Peak.

Until we get rain, Titus should be in pretty good shape - and it is a much less remote part of the park, lots of other vehicles go through there.

Telescope Peak can be pretty rough on the final climb up to the campground.
