DPA seems like a good idea on the surface, but in reality seems to be highly restrictive on law-abiding citizens, while lawbreakers will continue to behave however they please. Closing access roads that have been in use for 100+ years just makes desert areas inaccessible to anyone except those who don't care. I'm opposed to opening new roads in desert wilderness, just as I am opposed to closing roads currently in use.
