I see coyotes there everday. Go to Agueberry Mine and see bats. Go to the cabins in Goler and see little rodents who will raid the kitchen. True Death Valley does not have the wildlife like other parks, but I don't believe their is any scientific study which would suggest the wildlife population as a whole has significantly increased since Partk status.
Also, Grand Canyon was not affected under the Desert Protection Act so I don't really see any correlation.
Question: My feelings on the DPA are summed up in David Victor Day and Bill Helf's statements. How do you think the DPA has helped Death Valley?
