I not 100% sure, but I believe that one of the Trona Railways repeaters are stationed on Laurel Mountain (4431') just to the west of Hwy 395. Laurel Mountain has a clear view of just about all of the line in the area and reaches over Spangler Hills on into Searles Valley. What the station on Laurel Mountain can't cover in the Searles Valley area, I am sure that the radio facility just south of Westend picks up and covers. What about the radio site in Homewood canyon? Any ideas who is using it?
