Thank you. I have been riding motors for over 50 years. My current cycles include a Yamaha Venture Royale 1300cc touring bike and a Honda GL500 500cc light tourer. As far as I know you can camp at Cachuma Lake, using you m.c. as your transportation. If you are into gangs and clubs, there are a number of spots off Paradise Valley Road (close by) that are a big draw. Near there is Cold Springs Tavern where bikers of all sorts gather to swap lies and discuss the "Big Bang Theory." Supposedly, Juaquen Murretta (sp?), a notorious outlaw in early CA times, hid under the floor boards of Cold Springs Tavern to evade the lawmen chasing him. In any case, if you go to that area, you must stop at the Tavern and enjoy the scene (and fellowship). It is far more attractive (hills, trees, sometime spring, etc.) than Cook's Corner in Orange County. Another interesting place is the Rock Store in the Santa Monica Mountains. Jay Leno is known to show up there regularly. I've shot the breeze with T.V. personalities there. If you have an e-mail address that will accept color photos, etc., I can send you plenty of info. without taking up all of the Mayor's space. If you care to, send me your location via my e-mail address.
