A word (or two) about enviromentalists. Has anyone on here ever looked at any of these organization's web sites? They are PROUD of the fact that they can get roads, trails, lakes, etc. CLOSED.

In addition to being an avid Jeeper, I also own two personal watercraft. AND I *respect* the enviroment*

There is a *San Fransisco* based enviro group called The Blue Water Coalition (Just like The Center for Biological Diversity)that is trying it's best to ban ALL personal watercraft from Lake Mead and Lake Mojave along with all other inland waterways in California. It was supposed to take effect Sept. 15th but it got delayed (for unknown reasons...I was told by a ranger at Mojave "It's all political." Yeah, no kidding. On this group's website it talks about trail closures and how Jeeps and other 4wd vehicles are known for destroying natural resources. They discuss the fact that the "tires from these vehicles run over small creatures"...bla bla bla. I for one am SICK and tired of these groups being able to make as much noise as they want to and getting the politicians to listen to their CRAP! And that's all it is...PURE CRAP. It just pisses me off that these groups can sit on their butts hundreds (and in some cases, thousands) of miles away from the areas they're trying to close and make claim after claim about the destruction of such areas, when in fact they haven't got a clue as to what goes on. Or they try to back it up with false information. I'm sick of it.
