West Nile Virus & mosquitoes

After thinking about the recent outbreaks of the West Nile Virus, I realized that I've never had a mosquito "problem" in Death Valley (I'm sure the heat and lack of water have something to do with that). Actually that is ONE of the many reasons camping in DV is such a joy. I was wondering if anyone has had problems with mosquitoes anywhere in DVNP? Possibly at the higher elevations?
