I'm doing research on the plight of the Death Valley '49ers. I'm trying to find a text published by one of the Death Valley Jayhawkers, L. Dow Stephens, entitled Life Sketches of a Jayhawker of '49...... published originally in 1916, but am only able to find 1st Editions that cost $300-$500. Does anyone know where I can find this text, perhaps a copy, that I can obtain for a reasonable price?
