Yes it's closed to 4x4 vehicles, foot traffic is ok as long as you dont wear roller blades. Sorry but, Dog's and "Cat's" are not allowed either.

The area is patroled by helicopter gunships and F16 fighters with orders to shoot to kill any ofenders spotted.

A gate has been put up, last I heard a flash flood took it out, so they put up a new one.

I hear that they are planning on outlawing flash floods due to the damage they do to the environment of Surprise Canyon.
