I hope you've heard the old cliche about making an "assumption." I'm the originator of the post, and I've always been equally vocal about road closures in general, I just choose not to beat a dead horse. The topic of road closures has been discussed pretty thoroughly.
Several people at the other board had commented on the lack of recent posts. I hoped to generate a good discussion of equal access, specifically that of horses and dogs, to DVNP.
As to questioning Park Service policy (or looking for reasons): isn't that the role of a good citizen, to constantly examine their government's decisions and speak up about issues of concern? Didn't Thomas Jefferson say something like that?
