Sorry, I make no apology for my assumptions. Nor do I expect everyone on this site to hold the same views as I on land/road/trail use issues.
At face value I did find humor in the first three postings on the other chat site, as sick as that sounds. Perhaps I grow weary from the struggle. And darn if you did not burst my humor bubble by making your clarifications.
Sorry about your frustration with the NPS. I believe you will continue to be frustrated if you look for 'reason' in each and every decision they make.
