Are you serious? Why would any "route markers" be needed at all. If a visitor on that or any backcountry route needs a marker to guide them, perhaps that route is beyond their level of navigational skills. A good map, GPS or both can handle any navigation questions. A convenient sign or marker designating a specific location like at the "T" intersection at the top of Pleasant Canyon is more than enough. We need fewer signs and better navigation skills. The more the BLM or NPS does or has to do, is what seems to limit or curtail remote area and backcountry access. Not to mention what access is lost due to wilderness area designations and other official reasons. What do you think?
