Traffic Collision Near Badwater

Does anyone have any details on a car crash that happen at Badwater Rd around Hwy 190 early this morning (5/12/02)? Just curious as to what happened. CHP had it down as a Possible Fatality and that was confirmed when the park called to coroner out early this morning. Looks to be about 4 miles south of Hwy 190 on Badwater road. CHP on scene reported it to be an "extensive traffic collision scene" with a vehicle 500ft off of the road into the desert. Any one have any further details?
