WHOA!!! First, yes we have been down the Lorman and Supply Mine - both very dangerous and if we do it again - it will be with full gear. We encounter some traces of gas - enough to turn us around. Both mines are unstable and unsafe.
Secondly, we never - ever, post activities of this type on any website or message board. We do not forward our trip reports to anyone about this type of activity - unless we know that individual personally!!! In fact, we recommend that this type of activity never be done nor even attempted. We are stupid - out of our mind, etc., etc., etc.
This is one of the reasons why Desert Drifter / Desert Geographic is not on line yet. Liability issues.
So please, do not email us for the reports, conditions, how to do this type of activity. They will all go unanswered.
I can see the hornets have stirred the nest again… thanks!
