Am I the only one that is retired (lucky and glad of it!)? I taught, raised kids, and worked for the Forest Service; live in Oregon, wet, wet, wet... Camped in DV for years a week or two at a time, and now volunteer there in archaeology part of each year. This is a GREAT site, keeps me from getting really homesick for the desert. I don't contribute much, but read it every few days.
