I live in Devore - only miles away from the desert. I am currently a student working on my degree in archaeology. Most of my lab work involves section 106 work with the BLM and NPS with regard to Indian studies (rock art, prehistoric trails, etc.) and mining camps. Thus why every weekend is spent out in the desert. I am also the cabin cooridinator for the Osborne Cabin as well as the "sorry shape" Desert Geographic Web Page - and we are working on it as time permits...most of us are in finals for college...
I work full time in Santa Ana - but next month I will be going back with the Department of Defense and working out in Palmdale as a Project Manager.
My short term goal is to secure a job with the BLM or NPS in 2003.
