FIRST GRAND CLEAN-UP - OSBORNE CABIN SITE

Saturday
May 11, 2002
10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Join good friends (and make new ones) for a good cause!

We'll kick off the First Grand Clean-Up at 10:00 am. Bring your shovels, hammers, saws, heavy-duty gloves, trash bags, brooms, lumber, nails, screws, and the will to preserve a historical site - the Osborne Cabin.

Lunch, dinner, snacks, and refreshments will be provided throughout the weekend.

A large BBQ (Tri-tip, hamburgers, salad, rice, chips) will be held on the first evening with a festive campfire afterwards. For the adventurous, we will take a night hike to a mine and then to a small cave. Those wishing to camp overnight are welcome. On Sunday, there will be plenty of sourdough flapjacks, fresh fruit, Dutch oven blueberry muffins, and camp coffee for breakfast.

We will continue with the clean-up effort until we break for lunch at 12 pm. After lunch, we say our goodbyes to new and old friends, and head home with a feeling of accomplishment.

You will have to provide your own transportation to and from, water, and camping comforts, i.e., sleeping bag, tent, chair, cot, etc.

For more information about the Osborne Cabin Clean Up Project, please email me at: fooc@desertdrifter.com.

Space is limited, so don't delay!

Thanks,
Friends of the Osborne Cabin
