Hmmm, Well I kept getting the message: "Your session has been closed. You have been disconnected from your database session." because they only allow so much time for a search to be used, so I thought this may help. Report of activities at Death Valley National Monument in January 1940, by Superintendent T.R. Goodwin

These reports are monthly reports submitted by officials at individual National Park Service sites to the Western Regional Office. In general, the report documents site conditions and improvements to the infrastructure, many of which are still visible and used today. It also documents Emergency Conservation Work (ECW) and Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) work and activities carried out at the site, tourism and travel to the site, and recreational activities occurring at the site.
