Echo Canyon Pass - WE MADE IT!

Hiya, I'm happy to report that after the research about the Echo Canyon Pass I did on the chat pages, we attempted and made the pass in our 1995 stock Mitsubishi Montero. We had met up with members of a 4WD club at Stovepipe Wells and arranged to travel over it with them for safety reasons (they had winches and People) but their departure time changed and we were out. (they thought they could beat the heat by leaving at 6am - ha!) We decided to scope it out on our own. While we were checking it out, a mid-80s Toyota Landcruiser pulled up behind us and we both made it. What a rush. Our 20 month old daughter had a blast and I made it through the the bumps at 8 1/2 months pregnant. Call me crazy, but I thought it was a blast. Anyway, thanks for the info.
