Thanks RR for the info on the Geiger Grade.When I was there in Bodie this past August I saw 3 vehicles heading out on it. I plan to drive it in the near future well equipped.
Apology accepted although I did not take so personally. I understand your definition and can sympathize with those in that predicament.
I can't imagine a road being closed into June. But I notice that Monitor Pass opened today and that is a good sign. The first day that the GG is opened must prove quite a challenge!
