Jenny`s and Jacks of the donkey species are hardy animals indeed >> But they compete with the Big Horn Sheep for foliage and water which is scarce in DV area and all of the South West. The Saline Valley Burros were culled out ( shot and killed ) by the BLM back in `99. They won`t get them all > The burro`s skulls have turned up in all different places >> I personaly saw several Easter weedend > skulls and live >> No more let them live in harmony with the Big Horn Sheep. By the way a mule is a half horse and half donkey >> Mother a mare horse and Father a jack donkey. A Henny is Stallion horse and Jenny donkey offspring. Yes a big herd stood together for a whole nite > possisbly protecting a jenny giving birth. Thats their mark > its safe there not where they hide from BLM marksmen. Espuelas >> No more Burro heads.
